“After living in the Greensborough area for over 30 years, we wanted to provide locals the opportunity to share in our passion for coffee, food and a welcoming space for our community to meet, laugh and catch up. Mabel Jones is our 3rd café venture, following on from ‘The Foodrinkery’ (Burwood) and is the baby sister to our Thornbury café; Jerry Joy. We are passionate about the quality of food and coffee served in our cafes and with this in mind our menu is designed to fit local tastes and is the core of everything we do.” Good Food
With the benefit of experience and hindsight, the team at Mabel Jones, led by Damien and Seona Breen, opened the doors in May 2016 with a bright, welcoming and warm space in an area they called home where wanted to bring a new type of food and coffee experience to. With stints overseas and in the corporate world, hospitality is where their hearts lay and in June 2012 they open the doors to the first venture. 6 years on, Damien and Seona are experienced hosts who make you feel welcome on arrival and make you want to return upon your departure.
